PROJECT 1 : LOCALE SITE ANALYSIS
Site Investigation and Inventory introducing the existing condition of Jao Tim cafe which the chosen site with further exploration of the neighbor hood context within the parameter. A potential site with substantial public amenities and a subject matter that requires an investigation and research. Understanding the site, location, context, circulation, surroundings, substantial information and knowledge about the subject itself to be considered for design context and input. We are required to produce site drawings, Photographs and Videos.
The site is both a limitation to design and provides incredible opportunities. The site has its own physical attributes that comprised of memories and traces of its surroundings. Its neighboring buildings, materials used, form, height and other physical characteristic affect and influence the design later. Understanding the site and finding clues that inform the design ideas.

PROJECT 2 : DISCOVERING FORGOTTEN INTEREST
The project relates to coming out with a tangible interest and obsession which are unique / forgotten as a subject matter that we were able to project it visually with great in-depth research and deconstruct of its multi-layered definition and characters thoroughly.
• Analyze and display the creative process, influences and decisions that inform your design practice.
• To conceptualize ideas from design thinking before the design process and thorough info-graphic.
The project required the following
1. An Info graphic Board Showing rich info-graphic of the subject matter, design processes, activity, how it’s made, characteristics and its elements. From my research on the subject matter, need to select my desired aspect from the definition and allowing creativity and artistic notion to flare out from that particular object elements. Solidifying it and making a physical tangible statement. In order to achieve that, we are require to come out several keywords min 3 and max 5 that will help to guide in
2. Conceptual Model proposing and producing a conceptual art ‘device’ that will be both an art piece that is conceptual and narratives that itself in artistic manner. The approach to the subject matter derive from your chosen and approved interest and obsession. Historical precedents are key to ensure a successful creation of the conceptual model. Also required to infuse keywords as physical process in their conceptual art model, into a tangible reality.
Students are allowed to utilize any materials creatively. Students are encouraged to use more than 3 types of materials differently in order to achieve a well sound, functional conceptual model. The materials
used in the project are wood, steel, wire gauze and plastic.

PROJECT 3 : ARTISAN SANCTUARY
Its the continuation from based on Project 02 in terms of physical creative spatial insertion. The scenario of an artists will be the target audience in the living, working and producing the work of art in the said space. A space for not just for the artisans work and live but also for the community of similar interest to participate and produce their work of art with extensive spatial programming & facilities provided to produce their desired outcome. The idea of ‘making’ shall forever be embedded and continue in order to preserve the ‘interest’ art making. Requirements: Concept statement/Diagram, Conceptual Model, Presentation drawings, Scale Model, Sample Board, Physical presentation board.
Final Project: ARTISANAL [ART Maker] SANCTUARY
Requirements for the Presentation contents as per below. Soft copy of AO boards (Portrait each) to be uploaded in TiMES. Incorporated all the list in 3 A0 boards in jpeg format.
1. NAME or TITLE of your Artisanal Sanctuary Design
2. TARGET USER & WORKSHOP PACKAGES/CLASSES Diagram
3. FACADE DRAWING with the Site Context to determine the location.
4.. STATEMENT OF ABOUT YOUR SPACE 100-150 words.
5. All FLOOR PLANS in scale (1:75) including site context for First Floor ONLY Rendered as a presentation drawing and must be detailed.
6. Minimum of TWO SECTIONS [1 long + 1 short (Scale 1:50) or 2 long sections (Scale 1:50)].
7. Minimum of SIX RENDERINGS OF INTERIOR PERSPECTIVES/3-DIMENSIONAL VIEW (Major space, showing activity and programming, design language and concept seen in space, good quality with material, lighting + targeted people/user)
8. One EXPLODED ISOMETRIC/AXONOMETRIC diagram for each floor/level with clear detailed explaining of the space programming in diagram manner.
9. MATERIAL PALETTE (minimum of 5 usage materials in space to be displayed as a material palette). Do not exceed than A4 size ratio for overall materials shown.
10. ONE INTERIOR DETAIL/Bespoke detail drawings of a custom-made design in an appropriate scale. (Special detail: Bespoke design related to major space). It shall NOT in scale when you composed in the presentation board. So can adjust the sizes to fit in the boards.
E-PORTFOLIO
The compilation of projects completed throughout current semester and freehand sketches on process and thoughts to be included in the folder. A one-page Reflection on student’s learning experience for this module is to be included as well.
